MORES (Mobile Outreach, Response, Engagement and Stabilization) is a team-based crisis response intervention designed to support families when they need it most. Our mission is to stabilize the immediate crisis, promote safe behaviors, and keep youth safely in their homes and communities.
Who We Serve
The MORES program provides completely free services to families meeting the following criteria:
- Age: Children and adolescents ages 3 to 21 years old.
- Location: Pitt County, North Carolina
- Diagnosis: We accept all mental health, substance use, and developmental disability diagnoses.
- Need: Youth experiencing escalating emotional and/or behavioral challenges that require immediate or short-term stabilization.

Rapid On-Site Response: If a mobile crisis team needs to be dispatched, we ensure reduced response times to get professionals to your door quickly.

Short-Term Management: Focused, expert intervention to manage and de-escalate the situation until the immediate crisis is resolved.

A Partner to Walk With You: You and your family will have a dedicated team supporting you every step of the way, helping you advocate for your child’s needs and build a personalized crisis plan.

- Licensed Clinicians: Professionals specifically trained in child and adolescent mental health interventions.

- Psychiatric Consultation & Care Management: Direct connections to clinical specialists and vital community resources.
- 8 Weeks of Follow-Up Care: Extended support for up to two months after the initial crisis response to ensure your family successfully transitions into long-term services.
