  Mobile crisis resources now available here outlined in information workshop

  Emergency crisis management for people with mental health, developmental disability and substance abuse issues is available here 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year from Integrated Family Services (IFS), a provider contracted by Trillium Health Services, interested stakeholders were told Monday at an informational session at Southeastern Community College.

  While sometimes underutilized and misunderstood, Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) is a foundational benefit of children’s Medicaid. • Trillium to offer school-based therapy services

  Trillium Health Resources is offering school districts across the East the opportunity to have school-based therapy services at no cost to the schools. Trillium uses Medicaid and state funds to pay for the cost to help treat mental health issues inside of schools.

  New way to get help for a loved one during a crisis

  here’s a new way to get help when someone you care about has a mental health crisis. This month, Integrated Family Services began offering mobile crisis management services in Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender Counties.

  Agency opens mobile services office

  Integrated Family Services held an open house Thursday for its mobile crisis management office in Rocky Mount. The office at 135 Woodridge Court will be the hub of the expanded services offered in Nash County by Integrated Family Services as a result of its new partnership with Trillum Health Resources.

• ‘We Are HOW Fest’ aims to help fight opioid abuse

  A concert to bring awareness to the opioid crisis and give help to those who need it. That was the mission tonight for Heart of Wilmington. This year, a study ranked Wilmington number one in opioid abuse in the country. Nearly 16,000 people die every year from prescription drug overdose. Today was National Overdose Awareness day, so the group brought the community together for the event.
